November 13, 2025 – 08:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Workshop Description: A practical and interactive workshop focused on the principles and technique of ultrasound-guided peritoneal dialysis (PD) catheter insertion. Participants will receive an overview lecture, followed by small-group rotations across multiple stations covering catheter setup, ultrasound localization of abdominal landmarks, real-time needle tracking on gelatin models, and PD exchanges (CAPD and APD). The workshop aims to enhance nephrologists’ and interventional radiologists’ confidence and precision in performing and managing PD access.
Workshop Faculty Nehal Atef Elshabrawy ( Lecturer and Consultant of Internal Medicine & Nephrology, Mansoura University)

Mahmoud Mohamed Sobh (Lecturer and Consultant of Internal Medicine & Nephrology, Mansoura University)

Rasha Darwish (Professor of Internal Medicine & Nephrology, Cairo University)
